Another charming countryside venue is Aldwick Estate, a working Somerset vineyard set in the rolling Mendip Hills – a secluded location that’s still easily accessible from Bristol and Bath. The two light and charming converted barns and the extensive outdoor grounds here are perfect for summer events. Vineyard tours can be arranged as part of your party package, as can fun games and activities led by ACF Teambuilding, who are based at the vineyard.

BAWA Leisure

BAWA Leisure has eight excellent event spaces that are suitable for conferencing, meetings and training, a 33 acre sports field excellent for team building and away days and smaller meeting/syndicate rooms suitable for syndicate groups or interviews which make it the perfect venue for your event. Recently refurbished in a fresh contemporary style the meeting and conference rooms are spaces which your delegates will enjoy.

BAWA provide a friendly and professional service, with a reputation for excellence built up with their clients over many years. The in-house dedicated team will ensure that you and your delegates get the best out of your day. All catering and refreshments are provided by the in-house catering staff and freshly prepared on site. They provide a wide range of lunch options catering for all dietary requirements. Bambalan

With one of Bristol’s best rooftop terraces, Harbourside views, a Middle Eastern-inspired buffet menu and a lengthy cocktail list, Bambalan has all the ingredients for a fabulous summer party. There’s also outside entertainment on the games terrace, which includes foosball tables, ping-pong and a photo booth. The restaurant is located right in the city centre and can host 250 guests, plus an additional 150 outdoors depending on the weather.

Brunel’s SS Great Britain

The world's first luxury ocean liner is a multi-award-winning venue for non-residential conferences, corporate and private functions, weddings and civil partnerships. Steeped in history, the ship makes a stunning and memorable setting at the heart of Bristol’s harbour. The neighbouring conference space, The Brunel Institute, hosts stunning views onto the historic steamship and offers up-to-date, flexible and modern facilities, with easy access, excellent transport links and good car and coach parking, within an historic dockyard setting. Venue hire space on board ship include the Top Deck, the Promenade Deck, the First Class Dining Saloon and Hayward Saloon. Clifton Observatory

How about a summer party backdropped by Bristol’s most famous landmark? Clifton Observatory has a 360-degree roof terrace with panoramic views of Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge and the Avon Gorge. It's undoubtedly a memorable setting. De Vere Tortworth Court

De Vere Tortworth Court is a historic hotel in the countryside, just a 20-minute drive from Bristol city centre and conveniently close to the M5 motorway. Harbour House

A waterfront restaurant, bar and terrace set amongst a magnificent backdrop of original features in the oldest surviving dockside 19th century transit sheds in the Southwest. It has some of the most iconic views the city has to offer and steeped in history. This incredible new space features two indoor hangars, retaining many of the building’s original MOD fittings, including huge industrial cranes. The outdoor space has space for street food trucks, stretch tents and a capacity of 500+, even with social distancing still in place. The huge blank canvas that offers 80,000 ft² of production space, can be transformed to suit your event or production including award ceremonies, parties, experiential events, exhibitions or immersive experiences. The capacity ranges from 150 to 3000 people depending on the nature of the event. The spaces can be hired separately or include both indoor and outdoor spaces. The Wave

The Wave is an inland-surfing destination where everyone can surf on consistent safe waves all year round. It's the first destination of its kind in England and its Wavegarden Cove technology provides over 1,000 waves an hour. We The Curious

Host a rooftop party at We The Curious, the city’s interactive science museum on the Harbourside. This year, their summer package includes exclusive access to Project What If, an exhibition which uses questions asked by real people to delve into the real world of science.

As well as exploring the exhibition, guests can enjoy views over Bristol from the terrace, kick back in a deckchair with drinks from the private bar and tuck into food from a summer buffet.
