VisitEngland has produced an extensive Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Toolkit to help businesses cater to a wider range of visitors. It covers customer service, the physical environment, digital accessibility, inclusive employment, and more, and is suitable for businesses at every stage.

Did you know that 95% of disabled people check accessibility information before visiting a new place, and 77% have avoided venues because they couldn't find what they needed?
Through our partnership with AccessAble, Visit West members have priority access to VisitEngland discounts on Detailed Access Guides. A Detailed Access Guide provides comprehensive information about your venue, from parking and entrances to toilets and facilities, helping disabled visitors plan their visit with confidence.

Able2Book is a new ticket booking platform designed to take the stress out of planning and make days out easier for disabled visitors. Many people still face barriers, from inconsistent ticket policies to the need to search multiple websites for basic information. Able2Book brings everything together in one place so visitors can quickly find what they need and book tickets online with confidence.
Listing a venue on Able2Book helps attract disabled visitors as well as the friends, family, and companions who often attend with them. The platform is beginning with venues across South West England, and both free‑entry and ticketed attractions are eligible to join.
