AA Visitor Ready

The Visitor Ready scheme enables businesses in the UK hospitality, leisure, and tourism sectors to seamlessly showcase their commitment to operating safely within current industry standards and legislation.   

Businesses can check eligibility at VisitorReady.com, upload evidence, confirm key requirements and finish the application in just 20 minutes. Approved businesses benefit from a secure wallet for key documents, automatic reminders when documents need to be renewed, and a digital badge for their marketing channels.  

Earning the Visitor Ready badge represents a commitment to compliance with core standards, to assure customers that they have the necessary checks in place. It means consumers can now visit with confidence.

Find guidance about signing up for the Disability Confident scheme, and how it can help your business. The scheme aims to get employers to think differently about disability and take action to improve how they recruit, retain and develop disabled people.

Signing up to Disability Confident Committed (Level 1) is straightforward and will only take a few minutes.

Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies verified by B Lab to meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. 

The B Corp Community is a global movement of businesses that provide leadership by demonstrating their commitment to people and the planet. There are now over 5,000 B Corps in 84 countries and covering 157 industries.

The Institute of Tourist Guiding is the regulatory body for its accredited tourist guides in England and awards three qualifications to tour guides and employees at attractions.  

Blue Badge

For guides who take visitors around a region or metropolitan area on walking tours, at sites of interest, and using different methods of transport

Green Badge

For guides who take visitors to sites of interest and on walking tours in a town, the countryside, or attractions 

White Badge

For guided tours around a single site, e.g., a religious building, museum, zoo, art gallery, wildlife centre, historic house and garden, or a restricted single route tour, e.g., by boat
