We offer Food Friday posts on our Visit Bath and Visit Bristol consumer channels. Find out more about this award-nominated weekly campaign and how you can get involved.

What is Food Friday?

Food Friday is a weekly feature across our consumer social media channels, featuring up to five of your favourite food and drink places in the city and surrounding area. It is a great chance to promote your business or event at the same time. We offer Food Fridays to Visit West members and some non-members, although members will always have priority.

How do they work?

You would send us a recent image of you or one of the team, and a couple of lines about your business/event and your role, along with your top five favourite food and drink venues in Bath / Bristol, with one line about why you've chosen each venue and one image for each (these can be your own or we can source stock images and credit). You are also able to include your own buisness/event offering as well.

The Food Friday can also be themed e.g. favourite restaurants, coffee shops, bars. It could aslo be themed around an event such as Christmas or Valentine's Day.

Food Friday benefits for you

Here are a few ways a Food Friday post can help you:

Find new audiences - You will be featured to a large, well-engaged and similar audience. At the time of publishing (November 2023) Visit Bristol has 83,000 followers and Visit Bath has 70,000 followers.

Highlight an event or campaign - If you have an important milestone approaching, a Food Friday is a great way of getting more exposure for your business or event.

Generate content for your account - we invite your account as a collaborator, so it's a great way to plan and produce content for your own channels too.
