Belly Laughs is back!

Belly Laughs is back! Buckle up for a month of live gigs and excellent food and drink across the city, all in the name of raising money for good causes.

Bristol, the rumours are true. Mark Olver will be bringing his own unique brand of belly laughs back to life for the fourth year with a month of gigs to banish the January blues and do some good along the way.

With contributions from some of Mark’s comedian friends and familiar Bristol faces (including Russell Howard, Jon Richardson, Abi Clarke, Jayde Adams, John Robins, Joe Wilkinson and more) we invite you to celebrate our glorious city whilst raising money for good causes.

Mark said “We do stuff in that area where food, comedy and doing good stuff for others meets. We’re really excited to have our January gigs back up and running after a break for ‘we all know what’ last year. We’re planning gigs across the city with an amazing range of comedians and know that this year will be fantastic. I’m always blown away by people’s generosity at these events and am sure we can raise some money for these great causes whilst having a bit of a laugh at the same time”.

This year, we’ll be donating to a range of Bristol charities, including Fareshare and Julian Trust.

Julian Trust provides emergency accommodation for people living on the streets. They work alongside other shelters in the city too and provide food, hot showers, clean clothes and a laundry service for guests as well as beds for those who need them.

Fareshare South West works with community groups in and around Bristol city.

They support over 170 organisations, including hostels, day centres, lunch clubs, addiction agencies, young people’s projects and refugee centres, in delivering a food service to those who need it most and giving support on nutrition, food hygiene and more.
