The number of COVID-19 cases in B&NES is currently very high. In the week prior to 17th November, there were 990 reported cases.

Sadly, the high number of cases has translated into an increase in COVID-19 hospitalisations. It is therefore essential to take precautions to minimise the spread of the virus.

To support local businesses in helping to minimise the spread, Bath and North East Somerset Council have produced four posters for businesses to display where appropriate. The posters focus on three key messages:

• Wearing a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with people you don’t normally meet (e.g. support groups)

• Washing/sanitising your hands regularly to kill the virus and prevent it from spreading

• Making space from others, particularly in indoor areas where you may come into contact with people you don’t normally meet

Download the posters here.

By displaying these posters on your premises, you can help keep your staff, colleagues, service users and community safe.

If you need any additional resources or would like any further support, please contact public_health@bathnes.gov.uk.
