Customers will be able to choose from a range of ancient, traditional cider apple variety trees in their sapling stage, ready to be planted and, in time, bear fruit for cidermaking for many years to come.

Dan Heath, founder of The Cider Box comments "This Christmas we're thrilled to be offering folk the opportunity to bring a little bit of cider magic to their gardens- a locally sourced apple tree, which in time will bear fruit perfect for cidermaking, to be enjoyed through generations; a gift with zero waste and years of fruity fun".

Varieties including Kingston Black, Tom Putt and Dabinett- all old Somerset cider apple trees and will be available to pre-order from The Cider Box from November 18, presented with a handmade card at purchase. Full planting and care instructions will be provided plus The Cider Box will host a video call in Summer 2022 to answer questions on the trees growth and their management.
