We know that taking action to care for our planet is important, but what difference will the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) really make? Next week John Wesley’s New Room is hosting an online talk on this critical topic which affects us all.

This event is the latest in the ‘Wes Talk’ series, exploring life and faith in online conversations with speakers from near and far. The discussions focus on important questions in today’s world, with speakers sharing their insights and perspective as well as offering an opportunity for the audience to ask questions at the end to dive deeper into the topic.

In next week’s Wes Talk, Hannah Brown - Campaigns and Church Engagement Officer for the Joint Public Issues Team, will be joined by Rev Noel Sharp, who initiated the Redditch Trade Justice Network, Transition Gloucester and Greening Tetbury. The two advocates for positive change will discuss climate change and why COP26 matters.

The event will take place on Zoom on Monday 25 October, 7.30pm.
