Families can look forward to an array of creative activities at the Victoria Art Gallery and Fashion Museum this summer. Make some fierce and friendly fish, create a self-portrait, design your own big and bold Dr Martens, or produce an amazing walking flip book.

Councillor Dine Romero, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, Communities and Culture at Bath & North East Somerset Council, said: “It’s great that we’re able to offer our popular family activities again at the Victoria Art Gallery and Fashion Museum. Visitors can be assured that well-practised Covid-19 safety measures are in place at both venues. I hope that lots of local families will come along and enjoy these fun crafting sessions over the summer.”

All activities are free of charge but must be booked in advance on the museum websites: www.victoriagal.org.uk or www.fashionmuseum.co.uk

Please note that tickets for general admission to the museums must be booked separately. Admission is free for Bath & North East Somerset residents with a Discovery Card or proof of residence.

Covid-19 safety measures will be in place at both venues, including reduced visitor numbers, a one-way system, and pre-booking of all tickets and activities. Children will be given individual activity packs, and tables and equipment will be cleaned between sessions. Staff and adult visitors will be required to wear facemasks (unless exempt).
