Bristol’s College Green has been painted with a rainbow of coloured hearts by Bristol City Centre BID, as part of its #LoveBristol campaign and in support of the start of Bristol Pride Festival 2021.

The hearts, painted by artists from Upfest support the #LoveBristol logo and enable bigger groups to gather outdoors together to sit in them.

The #LoveBristol logos in Broadmead will also be turned into rainbows, bringing colour to the city streets for shoppers. A new puffin crossing was also revealed by the Bristol Pride team on Wine Street this week to celebrate lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and ace (LGBTQ+) communities.

The #LoveBristol campaign is spearheaded by the Bristol City Centre BID and follows on from Love Songs To The City where love lyrics are currently hung over the streets of Bristol. Visitors can head to Visit Bristol, for a Spotify playlist to enjoy alongside the lyrics on the streets, as well as a guide to every lyric appearing across the city.
