Circus City - the UK’s biggest festival of contemporary circus – will bounce back into Bristol this Autumn with a programme combining circus skills with music, film, theatre and dance and happening city-wide in indoor and outdoor venues, as well as online.

Further details of the 30 September to 16 October line-up, including the festival’s ticketed and free events, are due to be unveiled in mid August via www.bristolcircuscity.com and other news outlets.

Festival director Kate Hartoch says: “We are really excited about bouncing back into giving audiences of all ages a chance to enjoy some of the exciting shows that circus artists have been sustaining and creating over lockdown. Planning a festival like ours while the pandemic continues isn’t easy but we are determined to share our programme of local, national and international performance. There’s a strong sense that people want to get back to experiencing live shows. We love this experience, too, so we are working hard to ensure Circus City #4 is as safe, welcoming, enticing and enjoyable as possible."
