The last month or so has been extremely busy with press visits and rearranging postponed trips from last year! We have lots of media in the city during June, so we are looking forward to some great destination coverage being published over the summer period. The interest in Bridgerton continues and we issued a press release with all the Bridgerton inspired tours, experiences and hotel packages now available which resulted in coverage in The Mirror, Platinum Magazine, Somerset Live & The Bath Chronicle, and ITV West Country who will be filming shortly.

We also issued a press release on the Escape the Everyday funding we have received from VisitEngland to promote Bath and Bristol which resulted in extensive coverage across the region including Business Live South West, Bath Echo, Bath & Bristol Business News, the Bath & Somerset Business News and in the UKInbound e-newsletter.

Other coverage received over the last month includes a piece in Bath Life Magazine on the events taking place in the city which was inspired by the showcase we held in partnership with the Bath BID, a review of The Bird on House of, an alfresco dining piece in Somerset Life Magazine, a generic piece in the Scottish Sunday Mail and Metrosource Magazine where Bath was top of a 2021 travel bucket list. British Travel Journal featured Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein and Group Leisure & Travel did a piece on several Bath hotels that cater for groups. The updated their feature on best B&B’s in Bath and also ran a piece on UK Spa towns. This England did an extensive article on Somerset which included Bath and BBC Points West recently filmed at the Holburne for a piece on tourism recovery in the region.

We have also helped Visit England update their Bath page and Kingfisher publishing update their guidebook on Bath.

Other PR activity

We are currently working with EHTTA and on PR opportunities for World Wellness Weekend, helping the GB Pentathlon team find a location for their team announcement photo-call, as well as gearing up for the opening of Mary Shelley’s House of Frankenstein which is presenting some great PR opportunities for press coverage!
