Bristol City Centre BID and The Architecture Centre have joined forces to bring together experts from the worlds of office design, technology and the future of work, to create webinars for businesses as we prepare for the return to the office.

Bristol Together is an initiative spearheaded by Bristol City Centre BID to encourage collaborative working as the city emerges from lockdown and to support a rapid recovery for all businesses and organisations.

The sessions, taking place throughout March and April, will each address key topics that affect businesses primarily in the office sector: designing the workplace for a post-covid world, and emerging technology for collaborative working.

Keith Rundle, Operations Director of Bristol City Centre BID explains;

“As we venture back into our city centre offices, many  will face the same challenges of what spaces and technologies will work best as we adapt  to working in new ways. We have put together a panel of experts that are helping to deliver best in class ideas, both locally and nationally, to give clear insights at this critical time.”

The first session will take place on Monday 29 March at 12:00 pm and will explore the concept of designing the workplace for a post-covid world.

Chaired by Keith Rundle, the session will feature a panel of industry experts including Roz Bird; Commercial Director at MEPC, Cormac Farrelly; Associate Director of award-winning architects Alfred Hall Monaghan Morris, Phil Morton; founder and Director of Morton Property Consultants and Forward Space founder, Gavin Eddy. The webinar will explore the types of spaces that need to be created to maximise productivity and connectivity between teams.

On Monday 12th of April at 12:00 pm, the second session will focus on  emerging technology for collaborative working.

Those using Teams to communicate at home will be pleased to hear from Microsoft’s Mo Khalifa about how to bring it into the workplace. Collabtech’s Jane Hammersley will divulge the lowdown on hybrid work solutions and collaboration, while Futuresource Analyst Adam Cox will look beyond the horizon, using his experience as a Market Analyst to outline and understand upcoming trends in office technology.

This will be followed by a keynote address on Thursday 29th April at 6:30 pm on the future of our city-centre spaces, with a panel of industry experts, chaired by The Architecture Centre’s Pippa Goldfinger with a panel of experts to be announced soon.

The online sessions are free to attend. Those interested can register via: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/designing-the-workplace-for-a-post-covid-world-tickets-146714889183
