In NewsBath

Yesterday we had the news confirmed that Bath will be in Tier 2, enabling most (although not all) of the visitor economy to reopen with restrictions from 2nd December.

Click here for full details of what that means.

Public health and safety must come first, but it is a relief to be able to share opening times, events and experiences for the festive season and beyond.

As we approach reopening next week, we will be updating our website to ensure that we are carrying the latest advice from Public Health, as well as inspiring content to attract visits to Bath and North East Somerset. This will be very focused and targeted specifically at those areas from where travel is permitted, and primarily aimed at those staying overnight. As a result, this will be exclusively digital.

Tagging @visitbath into social media posts, if you have availability or an offer, for example, is the simplest and quickest way for us to be able to share through our channels. Updates from businesses are always very welcome so please do keep in touch and let us know how things are.

I am very aware that there will be several members and businesses in Bath who will not be able to open, either through restrictions or for other reasons. If there is anything we can do to help, again, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We should be able to confirm the Bath at Christmas schedule soon, and will share this with you as soon as we can. Don’t forget, our Virtual Christmas Market is live, enabling consumers to shop online via our site.

Also, please remember to share your 2021 (and anything beyond) news with us, as this helps us plan our own content schedule and be more proactive with our media partnerships. We are also already committed to a number of virtual trade events in the coming months, covering both leisure and business events, so any news for these sectors is also very welcome.
