About

SISTALAND Festival is expected to welcome over 500 attendees from across the UK working in film, TV, music, photography, theatre, media, design and the wider creative industries.

SISTALAND was born from the need for more honest, accessible and emotionally supportive spaces within industries often shaped by gatekeeping, burnout and inequality.

Following the success of its pilot festival, the organisation received over 4,000 speaker applications for this year's expanded programme.
Set against a lakeside backdrop with camping and glamping available onsite, the 2026 edition introduces a significantly expanded programme of panels, workshops, screenings, immersive installations and wellbeing-led spaces designed to challenge traditional industry culture and reimagine what creative success can look like.

This year's festival includes collaborations with organisations including UN Women, Media Trust and Lush, alongside contributors from across the creative and cultural sectors.

Programme highlights

  • Honest conversations around burnout, money, motherhood, visibility and survival in the arts
  • Industry panels featuring award-winning filmmakers, producers, artists and founders
  • The Exhale, a dedicated wellbeing and nervous-system reset space
  • The Money Clinic, practical financial guidance for freelancers and creatives
  • Outdoor screenings and after-dark programming
  • Workshops focused on confidence, pitching, creative sustainability and self-belief
  • Community-led sessions exploring identity, accessibility and representation in the creative industries.
