11:30 - 12:30 Session 2: Accelerating innovation through the low carbon sector

This will include the Somerset Energy Innovation Centre, Gridimp, Plymouth & Exeter Universities, followed by a Q&A session

12:30 - 13:30 Lunch - Networking & another opportunity to visit the exhibition stands

13:30 - 14:30 Session 3: Skills and training to maximise low carbon opportunities​​​

This will include skills development, training and infrastructure across the regions, including support available from local colleges

The Somerset Energy Innovation Centre invites you to join this full-day event (including a networking lunch), to highlight the breadth of low carbon opportunities in the region and celebrate the success of the Centre, now in its 10th year. The Centre offers a base for ambitious businesses in the nuclear and renewable energy sectors.

These are exciting times for Somerset and the South West, with a wide range of significant low carbon technology projects and developments taking place or taking shape. The region is leading the way in the low carbon revolution, with numerous opportunities for local businesses and communities to benefit from.
