About
The Guanxi China Roadshow for 2026 will visit the two major outbound tourism hubs of Beijing and Guangzhou, and bring UK and Irish suppliers to meet with more than 40 hand-picked Chinese tour operators who specialise in selling holidays to the UK and Ireland. The City of Bristol has been twinned with Guangzhou since 2001.
The Guanxi China Roadshow runs every second year (on alternate years to VisitBritain’s DB Asia event) and offers attendees an opportunity to experience a highly personalised, specialist roadshow. The roadshow is limited to 15 supplier delegate companies, of which Visit West is one, to ensure that each supplier receives highly personal service and a meeting schedule designed to acheive objectives.
All buyers that Visit West will meet are from mainland China, and all are specialists in developing itineraries for holidays to the UK and Ireland. In addition to two days of B2B meetings in Beijing and Guangzhou, a full day of education is included, with visits to the offices of two major Chinese travel companies in Beijing, offering a chance to gain real insight into the workings of the travel industry and access to the Chinese professionals who develop itineraries. This is a great chance to accelerate our industry understanding, and to get under the skin of the challenges, opportunities, and current trends being considered by the product managers who are making decisions about which destinations, attractions, hotels and transport options they will feature in itineraries for Summer 2027 and beyond.
