This event is only available and is free for small businesses, small charities, sole traders and residents based in South Gloucestershire and Bath & North East Somerset.

This practical workshop will guide you through the essentials of setting up a business, from choosing the right structure (sole trader, partnership, or limited company) to registering with HMRC, understanding legal obligations, and creating a simple business plan.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or formalising a side hustle, this session will give you the tools and confidence to take your first steps.

This workshop is aimed at individuals exploring self-employment, who are thinking about setting up their own business, or are in the early days of starting up..

A bit about your presenter:

Amy Morse is a Business Mentor, Blogger and Author. She has been supporting small businesses for over 10 years across various projects. As a creative writer, published author and avid blogger she helps others to embrace their story develop their small business with courage, confidence and creativity.
