About

Our climate is changing, in Bristol and beyond. From summer heatwaves to winter floods and disrupted supply chains, the impacts of climate change on business operations are already being felt and will only intensify.

Join Bristol Climate & Nature Partnership for a Climate Action Breakfast focused on how your organisation can build resilience to climate risks. Discover how preparing for the new climate reality will future-proof your organisation, allowing you to thrive in a changing environment.

We’ll hear from Dr Ben Smith, Associate Director of Climate Resilience at AtkinsRéalis, who will walk us through the first steps to building resilience within your organisation.

This session will explore:

  • Bristol’s changing climate and the implications for local businesses

  • Practical steps your organisation can take to prepare for climate risks

  • The business opportunity of becoming a climate-resilient business

There will also be time to network with peers and share ideas over a light breakfast.

Timings

8am-8:30am – networking and light breakfast

8:30am-10am – presentations and discussion

10am-10:30am – networking

Tickets are free thanks to our Climate Action Programme sponsors but places are limited so please reserve your spot.
