Salary:  £11.50 per hour

Work Pattern: full-time and part-time hours available. Part-time days will be Sunday – Thursday.

You will be supervising the catering team in the food barn and catering outlets around the 100-acre site; therefore they are looking for applicants who have had experience of leading a team.

Some of your Responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

  • To work alongside the Assistant Catering Manager and Senior Supervisors to ensure the smooth, efficient running of the business at all times.
  • Provide a warm welcome and friendly efficient service to all our visitors, ensuring that all staff are doing the same.
  • Take customer orders, payments, managing the tills.
  • Be highly organised using your initiative to help solve and record problems, utilise timings effectively – monitoring customer demand, staff training, etc.
  • Delegating tasks ensuring high standards of customer service are met at all times.
  • Communication is key across the whole site.  You must be able to communicate with the Senior management and Head Chef either verbally using radios or diary recording ensuring that staff, food, drinks, supplies, monies, and security are well managed.
  • To ensure that all cash and recordings are delivered to the Duty Manager at the end of shift and to assist with closing checks and securing the food barn overnight, making sure it is left ready for service the following day.
  • Barista trained – as will be making a multitude of hot drinks - *Full training will be given*.
  • Cooking in some of our catering outlets, i.e., burgers, chips, hot dogs, panini’s etc
  • Cleaning, running food and pot wash on occasions.

Skills and Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role within a catering/hospitality setting.
  • Supportive team player.
  • Computer skills: Word & Excel.
  • Be adaptable, flexible, and reliable.
  • Current full driving licence.
  • Kitchen experience (preferred).
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene (preferred).
  • Understanding of the Allergens Laws.
