Future Core and Digital Skills: Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise
4th December 2025
Starts at 10:00am
Ends at 11:00am
The Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector is at the heart of local communities, delivering essential services, supporting health and wellbeing, and responding rapidly to change when needed.
Increased demand on services, as well as the move towards digital service delivery, new models of funding and impact measurement are reshaping how the sector works.
Join our Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) focus group to discuss:
- Your experience of current and emerging skills needs
- The barriers to recruitment, retention, and upskilling
- Local training and education provision to better support your business and the wider sector
Your insights will feed into our research for the West of England and North Somerset LSIP, ensuring future training and education provisions aligns with your industry needs.
Why join us?
Local Skills Improvement Plans (LSIPs) place employers at the heart of local skills systems. Colleges and universities are training your future workforce, so join us to discuss what skills you need from your staff now, and in the future. Your insights will help us work with education providers and partners to shape provision and courses moving forward.
