Weekend Park Ranger

Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm are looking to recruit a friendly, motivated individual to join our Visitor Operations team as a Weekend Park Ranger.

You will thrive in a busy, customer-facing team and help with the day to day running of our award-winning zoo.

We are looking for that person who has a flair for providing outstanding customer service, you will be enthusiastic and enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same.

Some of your Responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

  • Helping visitors enjoy their day by being friendly, approachable, and responding to queries and questions.
  • Driving our Tractor and trailer and providing commentary to our visitors on board.
  • Keeping play areas clean, safe and well-maintained.
  • General janitorial duties.
  • Keeping the site clean and tidy.
  • Working in our ticket office and wider Visitor Operations team on a regular basis.

About You:

  • You will be a friendly, outgoing, and charismatic individual that enjoys working outside with members of the public.
  • A full current manual driving licence is essential and confident driving skills.
  • Experience of customer service in retail, leisure, or hospitality.
  • That you have high cleaning standards.
  • Good team player with a flexible can-do attitude.

Please note that you will not be working with our animals in this position

Employment details

Work Pattern:

2 days per week: Saturday and Sunday, permanent contract. 

Working hours: 8am – 5pm (Winter hours may vary).

Salary: £12.71 per hour
