The following is a job vacancy being advertised by Arnolfini:
Senior Marketing and Communications Manager
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Bristol (minimum three days per week onsite)
Contract: Permanent | Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
About the role
For over 60 years we’ve sharpened Bristol’s cultural edge; from exhibitions to workshops, live events to a drink shared with friends.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Marketing & Communications Manager to help more people discover everything Arnolfini has to offer.
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading contemporary arts organisations at a pivotal moment. Over the coming months we’ll launch a new brand strategy and visual identity, a new website and content strategy, and a new CRM platform—creating new opportunities to connect with audiences, supporters and communities.
As Senior Marketing & Communications Manager, you’ll lead Arnolfini’s marketing and communications activity across the organisation.
Working with our Programme Heads, you’ll develop campaigns that bring our exhibitions, engagement programmes and live events to life. Alongside our Associate Development Director, you’ll help grow membership, individual giving and philanthropic support through compelling fundraising and development campaigns. You’ll also lead marketing for Arnolfini’s Café & Bar and Bookshop, helping to strengthen our wider visitor experience.
Working alongside the Chief Commercial Officer, you’ll also play a key role in delivering several major strategic projects, including the activation of our new brand strategy and visual identity, the implementation of a new CRM platform, and the launch of a new website and content strategy.
We’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with excellent delivery. You’ll have significant experience leading integrated marketing campaigns, creating compelling content, building productive relationships and using audience insight to improve performance.
Experience within the arts and cultural sector would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. We’re equally interested in exceptional marketers from other sectors who can demonstrate the experience, creativity and mindset to succeed in this role.
