50% off the bill and 1000 free slices to mark the launch
Pizza lovers of Bristol, get ready! Pizza Pilgrims is bringing its signature Neapolitan-style pizza to the heart of the city, opening its doors to the public on Monday 15th June.
To celebrate the new opening, Pizza Pilgrims will be offering 50% off the bill during a soft launch between 8th -12th June and will be dishing out 1,000 free slices on Wednesday 10th June from 12pm, giving locals an early taste of what’s to come.
Pizza Pilgrims was founded in 2012 by brothers James and Thom Elliot, who quit their jobs to embark on a 4,500km journey from the toe-end of Italy back to London in a three-wheeled Piaggio Ape van, learning all they could about the true art of pizza-making along the way. Upon returning to London, the pair began serving pizzas at Berwick Street Market before opening their first permanent restaurant in Soho in 2013.
Located on Corn Street in the former Stanfords bookshop site, and spanning 325 square metres, Pizza Pilgrims Bristol is designed to transport guests straight to downtown Naples. Split across a ground floor and basement, the pizzeria brings two different experiences.
On the ground floor, guests are welcomed into a streetscape, where three bustling market stalls and a tucked-away seating nook create the feeling of discovering a hidden trattoria in the back streets of Naples.
Downstairs, the basement transforms into a 1970s-inspired Italo disco bar - the kind of backstreet party you always wished you’d been invited to. Inspired by Bristol’s vibrant music and creative culture, the space will also operate as a flexible events area for up to 40 guests, perfect for private dining, cabaret, theatre or performances and creative hire.
Seating 112 guests inside, with an additional 20 external covers, Bristol Pizza Pilgrims will be run by long-time Pilgrim, Sara Silvestri, who relocates from London to head up the new opening. The pizzeria is expected to create around 25 new roles.

Founders James and Thom Elliot comment on the launch:
“Bristol has such a unique creative energy and an incredible food scene, so it’s been high on our list for a long time. We’re buzzing to finally be opening here and can’t wait to bring a little slice of Naples to Corn Street.”
The Bristol menu will showcase Pizza Pilgrims’ signature Neapolitan-style pizzas, crafted from a 72-hour double-fermented dough. Expect to enjoy fan favourites such as the Margherita, Salsiccia e Friarielli, and the sweet-and-salty Double Pepperoni & Spicy Honey, alongside more indulgent specials like the 8 Cheese pizza and the Carbonara pizza, topped with crispy strands of al dente spaghetti.
Pizza Pilgrims Bristol opens its doors on Monday 15th June at 29 Corn Street, Bristol, BS1 1HT, serving lunch and dinner daily. Book your table now for the soft launch at https://www.pizzapilgrims.co.uk/bristol-softs/
