3 min readFEAR Scream Park at Avon Valley, the UK’s leading multi-award-winning scream park, is back once again for October 2026. Now in its 12th year, FEAR 2026 promises to be the biggest and most immersive experience to date, bringing a brand new headline experience, live action thrills and an unrivalled atmosphere, making it the perfect seasonal night out for scare fans and non-horror fans alike.
Having won multiple awards over the years, including Best Scream Park and Best Scare Experience at the Thrill Nation Halloween Awards 2026, Best UK Scream Park at ScareCON 2019 and 2022 and Best Set & Design at ScareCON 2026, FEAR Scream Park has grown to become the UK’s best scream park experience, attracting over 24,000 in 2025, with an estimated 27,000 expected for 2026.
FEAR Scream Park spans two multi-layered immersive worlds, alive with roaming performers and interactive activations, thrill rides, fire and laser shows, and live dance performances, and whilst jump-scares and adrenaline rushes are plenty, the experience has also been designed to appeal to non-horror fans. With multiple street food stalls and a range of experiential bars, some of which are hidden and need to be sought out, the experience brings an atmosphere akin to a festival, built to thrill, surprise and fully immerse guests, whether they come for the scares, the spectacle or the big night out.
Another notable new addition for 2026 is The Autopsy; an immersive theatrical horror experience blending live performance, cinematic storytelling and psychological horror, which can be booked in addition to standard entry. Created in collaboration with industry-leading illusionists and TV set designers, The Autopsy will bring something totally unique to FEAR Scream Park, and will be available for guests to pre-book in advance or on the night (subject to availability)
Speaking about what people can expect for 2026, FEAR Scream Park’s Creative Director Sam Bott said:
“I’m so excited about what we’ve got planned for FEAR this year! I always want to keep pushing the event forward and give people new reasons to come back, and I think 2026 has a really great mix of new experiences alongside some big changes to the attractions people already know and love.
“The Autopsy in particular has been a real labour of love for me. Last year’s Exorcism really paved the way for this style of experience at FEAR, and with The Autopsy I wanted to take everything we learned from that and turn it up to eleven. It’s bigger, more ambitious and really leans into the theatrical side of what we do, with a huge focus on storytelling, characters and atmosphere. I’ve been developing it for a long time, so I’m incredibly excited to finally put an audience in that room and see how they react.
“FEAR is about much more than just scares. It’s a whole night out where there’s something happening everywhere you look – incredible characters, live shows, great food and drink and, of course, some genuinely terrifying experiences. There are still a few surprises to reveal, and I genuinely can’t wait to open the gates in October.”
FEAR Scream Park takes place at Avon Valley, just outside of Bristol, and will run from the 9th to the 31st October, with selected dates available throughout that time period.
