About

We The Curious is an award-winning science and discovery centre offering distinctive event spaces that inspire creativity and engagement. Ideal for corporate meetings, product launches, and networking events, the venue is situated in Bristol’s vibrant Harbourside, benefitting from exceptional waterfront views and accessibility.

Conferences & Meetings

The Rosalind Franklin Room is situated on the second floor of We The Curious and is a versatile space filled with natural light. Exclusive hire includes the adjoining Annexe for catering or breakout rooms. Both spaces have access to private rooftop terraces where guests can enjoy a breath of fresh air with views over the Harbourside and Cathedral.

Parties & Social Events

For numbers of 80 upwards, the Rosalind Franklin Room offers a unique party setting. For numbers up to 80, you may prefer to opt for our Annexe Room.

For an interactive and truly unique drinks reception, you can have We The Curious to yourselves and let your guests loose on the playful exhibition floors after hours. Give your guests the chance to freely roam and interact with the exhibits. Choose some tasty treats from our menu and host your pre-dinner drinks in a completely unique and entertaining space.

Gala Dinners & Private Dining

The Rosalind Franklin Room occupies the top floor of We The Curious and offers private terraces with stunning views over Millennium Square, the Harbourside and the Bristol Cathedral. It's an incredibly versatile space perfect for Gala Dinners and Private Dining.

The adjoining Annexe Rooms enhance the space and can be used as a delightful bar or catering area leading to the south terrace.

For something truly unique, host your pre-dinner drinks amongst the playful We The Curious exhibits or treat your guests to a glittering star show in the planetarium.

Competitive Socialising & Team Building

We The Curious offer private star shows in their 3D Planetarium. During a private Planetarium show a presenter will take you on a journey through space. Seasonal Stargazing is recommended, which will show you the current star and space happenings! Hire includes the Space Gallery which can be used for arrival drinks or popcorn!

We The Curious welcome third party team building organisations, such as Aardmans Animations.

Social Impact

As a science centre, We The Curious are in a unique position to bridge the gap between science and people. As a charity (registered charity no. 1049954), it's their job to include everyone, build confidence and encourage agency.

Every year We The Curious welcome thousands of visitors to their venue on Bristol harbourside, including schoolchildren, young people, community groups and other local charities and not-for-profits.

They also work with local partners and schools to offer out and about activities, work experience programmes and bespoke opportunities for individuals who wouldn't normally feel like science is for them.
