Would you like to extend the positive impact of your event beyond the walls of your conference space? If so, Meet Bristol & Bath are available to offer support, and advise on ways to generate a positive effect and legacy on the community and its residents as a direct result of your event taking place in our cities and region.

We are in the process of developing a new programme for event organisers to help ensure their events provide real impact through legacy programmes.

Environmental Impact 

There are many ways in which you can reduce the carbon impact of your event.  Whether travelling by rail, and taking advantage of our special delegate rail fares with GWR, or walkable meetings, we can help you with a range of opportunities to plan travel.

We can also help you with advice about sustainable venues, and when you make an enquiry, you can ask for specific parameters such as an independent 3rd party accreditation for venues, those walkable from the main railway station or those that specialise in local food and drink.  This can include the development of itineraries for your delegates, with this local food and drink itinerary as inspiration or our walkable Bristol incentive itinerary.

Social Impact & Legacy 

Opportunities are endless and can vary from arranging a foodbank donation point for delegates to donate to, foregoing the traditional goody bag in favour of donating that money to a local charity to participating in an offsite team building activity which directly contributes to the running of a community project.

We have created a list of ideas and charitable projects which would love your support. We do though understand that every event is different and so it will be our pleasure to arrange a call with you to understand the required outcomes of your event.
