About

UWE Bristol is spread across three unique campuses with a number of event spaces which are flexible to differing requirements.

The talented, committed team are experts at making sure events runs smoothly. They offer as much or as little support as you require, including full on-the-day support.

UWE Bristol’s spaces are suitable for conferences, gala dinners, summer schools, product launches, networking events and corporate team building and more.

The largest campus, Frenchay, is based two miles from the M4 and M5 and has great transport links with Bristol Parkway station a short walk away and bus links into the city centre directly from the campus.

The campus’ modern facilities suit large conferences or networking events, as well as intimate boardroom-style meetings for presentations.

For outdoor events, they have a stretch tent which is pitched next to the university’s walled garden and can be used in conjunction with a BBQ pit in the summer months.

Their professional catering team offers a high standard of flexible options from working lunches to formal conference dinners.

At UWE Bristol’s Centre for Sport, also on Frenchay campus, they offer quality equipment, playing surfaces for beach volleyball, astroturf courts, a badminton court, a climbing wall, squash courts and other facilities to hire. They can host events ranging from sports training and tournaments, to corporate fun days and children's parties.

City campus at Bower Ashton is renowned for its creative and media-centred networks. Set on the edge of the beautiful Ashton Court Estate, the campus offers creative and specialist facilities including one of the UK’s largest print centres and a comprehensive library facility.

Glenside Campus is set within beautiful grounds in Stapleton, just three miles north east of Bristol city centre. Offering an idyllic backdrop of Victorian gothic architecture, Glenside is a regular host to medical seminars and network evenings thanks to facilities including lecture theatres, seminar and teaching rooms. There are also specific medicine and nursing facilities.

Whatever your requirements, the professional team can help you to book a space or work with you to create a bespoke event package.
