About
If you need a historic Bristol location to host your business, then look no further! John Wesley’s New Room is a true piece of local history. It's the oldest Methodist building in the world, located right in the heart of Bristol city centre and founded in 1739 by John Wesley. Today the New Room has expanded beyond its roots and now boasts a cafe & atrium area, meeting rooms, an outdoor courtyard and a museum above the original 18th century chapel. So, whether it's a summer soirée in the courtyard, a training day in the meeting room or drinks and music in the atrium, there is a space to suit.
Conferences & Meetings
Experience a modern, fully equipped conference room with views over the atrium. The room can accommodate up to 50 people in various configurations and is located on the second floor of the visitor centre (fully accessible by lift). It also offers modern audio and visual equipment, an adjoining balcony which can be used as a breakout area if required and a functioning servery with a range of catering options available on request. There is also the smaller, more informal Chapel meeting room that can accommodate up to 8 people.
Parties & Social Events
There is a variety of indoor or outdoor spaces to hire, all perfect for socialising, so whether it's a summer party in the city centre courtyard or a Christmas gatrhering in the Atrium where the café is situated, there is a space for you.
