Ideally located just moment from Jct 14 of the M5, De Vere Tortworth is a striking Victorian mansion that blends historic grandeur with modern comfort and all within an 1.5hrs travel from London and 1 hr from Birmingham. Offering 201 bedrooms, 14 event spaces for up to 350 delegates, multiple dining options both indoor and outdoor, over 30 acres of space ideal for teambuilding, complimentary car and coach parking, plus leisure club and spa and an arboretum with over 200 species of trees.   

Conferences & Meetings  

De Vere Tortworth Court offers 14 versatile event spaces, the largest and most versatile space is The Westminster Suite, a bright and contemporary room featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a built-in stage and integrated AV. With its own private breakout area and bar, it accommodates up to 350 guests and can also be divided into four syndicate rooms if required. With direct access to the outdoor bandstand and Tipi it is perfect for summer events or for Christmas the Westminster suite connects internally to the impressive Atrium with its 60ft high glass ceiling, perfect for pre-dinner drinks.  

The Orangery is a self-contained unique venue that was originally built in 1899 and it a glass panelled conservatory, ideal for dinners, celebration events and weddings. The additional event spaces range from the magnificent Victoria suite with bay windows over the gardens to the Nightingales which benefits from De Vere’s Smart Space.

De Vere Tortworth Court is an ideal setting for both summer and Christmas celebrations, offering flexible spaces and a stunning backdrop throughout the year. In the summer months, guests can enjoy drinks receptions, barbecues, and al fresco dining in the Tipi an idyllic and atmospheric dining experience in the heart of the hotel’s gardens, open March – October for private events and open for leisure guests on weekends. During the festive season, the hotel transforms into a magical setting for Christmas parties, from private festive dinners to large-scale celebrations, complete with seasonal menus, themed décor, and dedicated event support.

Gala Dinners at De Vere Tortworth Court offer an elegant and memorable experience within a truly impressive setting. From large-scale black-tie events in the Westminster Suite to refined dinners in the Victorian Orangery, each space can be tailored to suit the style and scale of the occasion. With capacity for up to 280 guests, bespoke menus, atmospheric lighting, and dedicated event support, the venue provides a seamless backdrop for awards evenings, charity galas, and celebratory dinners. For smaller gatherings, we offer a selection of private dining rooms ideal for intimate celebrations, executive dinners, and special occasions.  

Competitive Socialising & Team Building 

De Vere Tortworth Court offers 30 acres of grounds available for a range of team building activities. From country pursuits such as laser clay shooting activities, duck herding, Graffitiart and inflatable challenges, the hotel can accommodate team events for groups up to 500 guests.  For smaller activities we offer a range of indoor spaces and activities. We work with ACF Events but clients are welcome to work with their preferred suppliers.  

Accommodation  

De Vere Tortworth Court offers 201 bedrooms, 55 in the Mansion House and 147 in the Courtyard.  Offering a range of bedrooms types from cosy courtyard to newly refurbished superior rooms and the impressive Kipling and Paxton suites. The hotel offers up to 50 twin bedded rooms, along with 5 accessible rooms.  All rooms include en suite, tea & coffee making facilities, laptop safes, iron and ironing boards. Suites include Nespresso Machines with robes and slippers. The hotel is also pet friendly.  Leaf Spa offers a pool, steam room, sauna and 5 treatment rooms including a dry flotation bed perfect for relaxing after a hard day exploring.

Social Impact 

De Vere Tortworth Court supports a range of charities to host events at the hotel where we offer a range of opportunities to support fundraising including, percentage of the bar tab, raffle prizes along with off setting event carbon footprints via our BCorp partner Skoot Eco.  Dedicated Charity packages are available.
