Clifton Observatory is a unique historic venue situated high atop Avon Gorge. With breath taking views from the rooftop terrace, the venue is an unforgettable venue for any occasion, from corporate away days to celebrations and weddings. 

Conferences & Meetings

Clifton Observatory offer full use of the William West Room, our beautifully-furnished events space, and the Rooftop Terrace, a stunning open-air space that is ideal for and networking and breaks. Day Delegate Package include use of AV (projector, microphone, Sonos sound system); unlimited Wi-Fi; furniture and layout of your choice; complimentary access to the Clifton Observatory attractions; buffet lunch and unlimited refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits, water). The bar can also be made available for further drinks requirements. 

If you have fewer than 20 delegates then the Events Team are happy to put together a bespoke package for you. 
 

Parties & Social Events 

Evening hire at Clifton Observatory is available. Their party hire packages feature exclusive hire of Clifton Observatory, including the William West Room & the Rooftop Terrace, with stunning views of Avon Gorge; furniture & layout of your choice; polycarbonate glassware; use of Sonos Sound system and Rako Lighting to create the perfect mood for your event; additional AV (projector and microphones); fairylights, LED candles, and up-lights in colour of your choice; fully licensed bar and bar staff; on-site security and a dedicated events manager. 

Christmas - the venue has a range of Christmas packages to suit any style of celebration, from buffet lunch to three-course meals, to cocktail parties. All our packages include an arrival drink of Prosecco or orange juice; use of Sonos Sound system and Rako Lighting to create the perfect mood for your event; additional AV (projector and microphones); festively decorated event space; luxury Christmas crackers. They offer two-course lunch or three-course dinner options, each served with ½ bottle of wine (red or white) per person along with water for the tables. The buffet lunch option includes a festive bowl buffet along with dessert options; and the cocktail party package includes a festive finger food buffet along with dessert options.
