They are a charity, a heritage site and Site of Nature Conservation Interest. By choosing Arnos Vale for your venue hire, you are directly helping to care for and protect this unique and special place.

Conferences & Meetings

Arnos Vale Cemetary has 3 unique venues to choose from for your meetings and conferences: Designed in 1839, the stunning Anglican Chapel has original Victorian features alongside modern additions that make it both a beautiful setting and a functional room for meetings and events. The Underwood Centre is a secret haven set amongst our 45-acre woodlands. It is the perfect venue if you’re looking to get your teams out of the office and amongst nature. Combine this with one of the indoor venues for the ultimate away day! The Spielman is a Grade-II* listed Chapel, with original Victorian features and a contemporary interior design. It is their most versatile venue space. Hire out the adjacent atrium café and garden terrace space for large events of up to 140 capacity.

Parties & Social Events

Celebrate the season with the unique setting of Arnos Vale Cemetery for your Summer or Christmas parties. Enjoy a blissful BBQ and sunset cocktails in the Underwood Centre and garden terrace, or enjoy a Victorian-inspired Christmas in the gothic Grade II-listed Chapel.

Gala Dinners & Private Dining

Enjoy your celebrations in the Anglican Chapel for your gala dinner. Be seated, banquet style, and enjoy a welcome glass of prosecco or elderflower fizz as part of a specially selected wine package. Enjoy the culinary delights of dining offer from one of the venue's contracted caterers. Then, dance the evening away in the grand Spielman Centre with adjacent atrium garden terrace, with a selection of delicious locally-sourced drinks at the evening bar.

Competitive Socialising & Team Building

Arnos Vale is the perfect space for your team building day! Enjoy a scavenger hunt across our 45 acre landscape, learn survival skills in the Underwood Centre, or join a tour to learn more about this fascinating place.

It is also possible to arrange corporate volunteering to help the venue care for this special place.

Social Impact

Managed by Arnos Vale Cemetery Trust, the venue receives no regular government or council funding. Instead, they rely on donations, grants, and income from their café, shop, venue hire, and cemetery services.

Arnos Vale Cemetery is a 45-acre Grade II* Listed Park and Garden in Bristol, home to historic buildings, monuments, and a thriving wildlife sanctuary. Recognised as a Site of Nature Conservation Interest, it serves as both a cultural landmark and a green community space.

Every booking directly supports the preservation and upkeep of this unique heritage site, ensuring it remains open for all to enjoy.

Access Statement

Arnos Vale Cemetary aims to make the venue as accessible as possible. They have a wheelchair ramp up into the café and Spielman Centre and another lift to gain access to the accessible toilet downstairs. They have a wheelchair lift to allow access to the Anglican Chapel (weight limit of 150kg).
