You'll learn how the company began, sample a range of their exciting gins and discover key botanicals. Both classes include a complimentary G&T to enjoy in their waterfront bar afterwards and are hosted by their expert guides. Gin Tasting £25 p/p, Cocktail Masterclass £35 p/p.
Sustainability Policy
6 O'clock Gin prioritizes sustainability through waste reduction (using surplus fruit), carbon footprint reduction (refill pouches cutting CO2 by 90%+), ethically sourced ingredients, and transparent carbon reporting, aiming to be eco-friendly with initiatives like reducing packaging impact and aligning with consumer demand for responsible spirits. Key Sustainability Practices:
-
Waste Reduction: Started by using surplus fruit from their Devonshire farm to create liqueurs, preventing waste from the beginning.
-
Carbon Footprint: Introduced refill pouches that significantly cut CO2 emissions compared to buying new bottles, making them a core part of their environmental efforts.
-
Ethical Sourcing: Focus on ethically sourced ingredients for their premium spirits, notes Craft Drink and 6 O'clock Gin Customer Success Story | The Carbon Stamp.
-
Transparency: Partnered with The Carbon Stamp to track and demonstrate their carbon footprint, building trust with eco-conscious customers.
-
Continuous Improvement: Constantly looking for ways to improve processes, products, and packaging to be more environmentally friendly.
