Create centre building

About

Create, a unique landmark on the city's skyline, is Bristol's vibrant environmental centre and conference venue situated in a dramatic waterfront location on the Cumberland Basin. The building is one of the remaining red brick 'bonded' warehouses that were originally part of the tobacco industry in the city.

The Centre is a busy non-residential conference and meeting venue as well as hosting a varied programme of public events with a focus on environmental issues and sustainability. It is home to numerous organisations and small businesses and the city council's Green Capital and Sustainability Teams.

The demonstration Ecohome is a showcase for sustainable design and living. Create offers a range of flexible spaces to meet all your needs, from informal gatherings to larger scale conferences, at value for money prices.

Their 70 seater Avon Theatre on the ground floor is equipped with video and data projection, a PA system and induction loop. Wifi is available throughout the building. The Create Gallery has space for exhibitions, small trade shows or workshops. In addition to the Theatre, there are four meeting rooms located on the first floor, accommodating between 10 to 30 people, all equipped with AV facilities and internet access to suit your event needs. Accessibility and amenities are top priorities at the Create Centre. All public areas are fully accessible, and an induction loop is available.

Create has informal spaces with sofas to take a break from meetings, an eco-reference library to browse and also benefits from the network of riverside walks and cycle ways on its doorstep.

Create Centre is easily accessible via foot or bicycle as it is surrounded by footpaths and cycle routes that take the visitor along the docks or the River Avon and beneath the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Additionally, it has a complimentary visitor car park onsite for those that drive.
