Roman Baths and Pump Room

With a 2000-year history as a space for hospitality and relaxation, the Roman Baths makes a magical event setting. For an atmospheric reception, invite your delegates for drinks by the torchlit Great Bath, the grand centrepiece of the complex, or on the Victorian terrace which overlooks it. Dinners can be held in the Pump Room, an exceptionally elegant venue which was first opened in 1795 and is much the same today as it was then.

Folly Farm Centre

Folly Farm Centre is a sustainable and ethical conference venue on a 250-acre nature reserve. Bring delegates together among lush green beauty, ancient woodlands and wildlife, with views over Chew Valley Lake and the Mendip Hills.

They have a fun selection of teambuilding activities that can be incorporated into your party, including bushcraft survival skills, archery, sheep herding, wine tasting and much more. Menus at Folly Farm focus on seasonal, locally grown produce, with BBQs on offer for summer evenings.

MacDonald Bath Spa Hotel

Host your summer event in the Avon and Kennet Suite at the five-star MacDonald Bath Spa Hotel – one of the city’s finest hotels. The suite can host up to 140 attendees for a standing buffet or BBQ option. It’s located on the first floor of the venue and from here it’s just one flight of steps to access to the terrace area and lawn. The terrace is a beautiful space for a drinks reception while the lawn is ideal for teambuilding activities.

For a countryside venue that’s conveniently close to the city, consider The Limpley Stoke Hotel, based in a village just a ten-minute drive from Bath. Bath Adventures

Bailbrook House

Bailbrook House is a Grade II listed property located on the edge of Bath. With 20 acres of private grounds, there’s ample space to move your party outdoors and also take part in teambuilding activities, which include the hotel’s very own escape room-style challenge – the Bailbrook Crate Escape.

Delegates will be well fed by the flexible and creative catering team, who can rustle up everything from customised donuts and wood-fired pizzas to 9-course tasting menus.

Longleat

Treat your team to a fun and unique teambuilding experience at the UK’s number one safari park. The University of Bath has a range of unique venues and spaces to suit your event’s specific needs. These include The Edge building, which offers indoor space that can be used for summer events and gives you the option to enjoy your drinks on the patio terrace.

Outdoor space at the university also includes a marquee on the lawn surrounding the lake – the most aesthetic part of campus. You could treat your guests to a sumptuous BBQ or why not utilise some of the large grounds and put on a team building event for you and your guests.

Bath Racecourse

Bath Racecourse is an ideal venue for large outdoor events with acres of versatile grounds to make the most of, as well as a multi-million-pound, purpose-built events space. Rooms here include the Paddock Pavilion, a large glass-fronted marquee that spills out onto a Champagne lawn. For more intimate parties, you may like to hire out the Roof Garden, the rooftop reception space with far-reaching views.
