About

The Roman Baths and Pump Room provide one of Bath’s most unforgettable and iconic settings for events of every kind, from corporate dinners and receptions to private celebrations, weddings, and special occasions. As one of the city’s most historically significant landmarks—and a symbol of Bath’s unique heritage—the venue holds a central place in the cultural identity of the area. Located in the heart of the city, the atmospheric Roman architecture combined with the elegant Georgian Pump Room creates a backdrop that is not only visually stunning but deeply rooted in Bath’s story. This extraordinary blend of history and grandeur elevates any event, offering guests an inspiring and truly memorable experience.

Conferences & Meetings

The Roman Baths & Pump Room offer three beautifully appointed meeting rooms in the heart of Bath, each providing an inspiring backdrop for a wide range of events. The Panorama Room, set within the Roman Baths Museum, overlooks the steaming Great Bath and stands out as one of the city’s most striking and atmospheric meeting spaces. The elegant Kingston Room and Drawing Room, with their charming views towards Bath Abbey, provide intimate and versatile settings ideal for meetings and small gatherings. Often used together—one for the meeting itself and the other for refreshments—they can also be hired individually to suit the needs of your event.

Parties & Social Events

The Roman Baths & Pump Room offer an unforgettable setting for private parties and social celebrations, whether you’re planning an elegant gala dinner, a festive gathering or a milestone birthday. From creative bowl food and canapés served beside the mesmerising Great Bath to indulgent dinners paired with fine wines and Champagne, the venue provides a memorable backdrop for any occasion. Ideal for marking anniversaries, hosting Christmas celebrations, or bringing loved ones together, these historic spaces create a warm, atmospheric and uniquely impressive environment for entertaining family, friends, or colleagues.

Gala Dinners & Private Dining

With its 2,000year heritage and remarkable atmosphere, the Roman Baths & Pump Room offer an exceptional setting for gala dinners and private dining. From intimate dinners overlooking the steaming Great Bath to grand banquets in the elegant Pump Room, the venue combines historic grandeur with unforgettable ambience. Flexible spaces accommodate dinners from 20 to 180 guests, with the option to extend capacity by combining rooms for larger celebrations, while enhancements such as guided tours and evening entertainment create a truly memorable experience for every guest.

Competitive Socialising & Team Building

The Roman Baths & Pump Room provide a unique backdrop for team building and competitive socialising, offering memorable experiences such as Silent Discos in the Pump Room, immersive Murder Mystery evenings set within historic surroundings, tailored teambuilding activities designed to bring colleagues together in a one of  akind setting, and guided tours of the venue and museum. Whether creating friendly competition, encouraging collaboration or delivering corporate hospitality with a twist, these atmospheric spaces transform events into unforgettable shared moments for teams and clients alike.
