About

The American Museum & Gardens is a heritage attraction just a ten-minute drive from the centre of Bath, located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of The Cotswolds. The site comprises of a museum, based inside the Georgian manor house, an exhibition gallery, café, shop, plus converted Coach House and Stables that are used for corporate events. The estate extends to 125 acres of which 30 acres around the manor house are landscaped into stunning gardens and an arboretum. The Stables and Coach House have been converted into versatile and modern spaces for corporate or private events.

Coach House

This space has two rooms: a L-shaped Seminar Room (max capacity 50) and a smaller workshop space (max capacity 30). The seminar room is perfect for small conferences, presentations, meetings and lunches, whilst the workshop can be used as a break-out space. The seminar room has an AV system and large screen. There are also toilets in the complex: three unisex cubicles and one accessible/baby change cubicle.

Stables

This is a large light and airy semi-circular space, with enough space for 120 attendees theatre style, or 100 on round tables. The Stables is a popular space for presentations, conferences and more informal drinks reception events. There are toilets available (three unisex cubicles and one accessible/baby change) in the adjacent Coach House building. The Stables has an accessible chair lift, a sound system with speakers and a projector and screen among its features.

Boardroom

This space, on the top floor of the manor house, is ideal for small meetings, with a maximum capacity of 10 people. There is a small screen available for presentations, and magnificent views over the New American Garden from the windows
