Badminton Estate House Exterior

About

Badminton Estate is a prestigious, private family-owned country estate set within expansive parkland in South Gloucestershire. Internationally recognised for its historic house, gardens, world-renowned equestrian heritage and filming credentials, the estate offers a highly exclusive setting for corporate events. Combining heritage, scale and creative flexibility, Badminton provides a distinctive alternative to conventional conference venues, with exceptional indoor and outdoor spaces suited to bespoke builds, marquees and curated experiences for clients seeking privacy, impact and a true sense of occasion.

Conferences & Meetings

Badminton Estate offers a focused and discreet environment for conferences and meetings, ideal for organisations seeking space to think differently. A variety of adaptable settings can host everything from senior leadership meetings and strategy sessions to larger conference formats using temporary structures such as marquees, all set within peaceful countryside surroundings that encourage clarity and engagement.

The estate is particularly well suited to non-traditional meetings where content is enhanced by context. Events can be designed to include plenary sessions, breakout spaces, outdoor networking, and hospitality areas, allowing delegates to balance productivity with time in nature, away from everyday distractions.

Parties & Social Events

The estate’s extensive parkland and gardens provide an exceptional backdrop for summer parties that will wow your guests - offering space for marquees, outdoor receptions, live entertainment, and interactive experiences. Summer events can be fully bespoke, ranging from elegant garden soirées to large-scale corporate celebrations with food villages, stages, and experiential zones.

Badminton Estate offers a memorable setting for Christmas parties, each of the rooms have working open fires and traditional spaces that give off a warmth to clients. Say something about the deer park, seasonal food etc. Clients can create tailored experiences incorporating dining, entertainment, and seasonal styling, all within the privacy of a single-estate setting.

Gala Dinners & Private Dining

Badminton Estate is an outstanding location for high-impact gala dinners, whether hosted within the historic interiors of the North Hall — birthplace of the game of Badminton — the Old Hall, or within purpose-built structures overlooking the parkland. The estate naturally lends itself to formal dinners, awards ceremonies and black-tie events where atmosphere, arrival and production values are paramount.

For smaller-scale private dining, Badminton offers refined and intimate settings within Badminton House or the gatehouse, Worcester Lodge. These spaces are ideal for executive dinners, client entertaining and hosted receptions, supported by trusted catering and production partners.

Competitive Socialising & Team Building

Badminton Estate provides exceptional scope for team building, competitive socialising, and corporate hospitality, using both its historic landscapes and open parkland. Activities can include countryside challenges such as archery, clay pigeon shooting,  orienteering and team trail challenges across the estate, alongside problem-solving and leadership-based activities designed for corporate groups.

For more relaxed competitive socialising, the estate can host garden games, cooking demonstrations or themed hospitality experiences, all supported by expert external partners. Programmes can be tailored to suit group size, objectives and event flow, whether as standalone team building days or integrated into conferences, offsites or client entertainment.

Accommodation

Badminton Estate currently offers two holiday lets – Swangrove House which has 3 bedrooms and can sleep 5 and Hollybush Cottage which has 3 bedrooms and can sleep 4-6.
