If you are planning to host an event to Bristol in the future and would like to see some of the spaces the city has to offer, then we have put together a list of virtual tours for you to view from the comfort of your own home. If you would like to visit the venues in person, please contact the Meet Bristol & Bath team who can coordinate your visits.
We have also included useful Covid-19 health and safety information from each venue to show how they are adapting and working towards a safer environment for events to take place.
Ideally located in Bristol city centre, Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel has been welcoming guests for more than 150 years. The hotel underwent a complete refurbishment in 2019, in keeping with its royal name and history. Those hosting events will be thrilled with the choice of rooms, including the Grade II listed Palm Court seating up to 120 for a conference and the spacious King Suite seating up to 300 in a theatre style.

Located in a huge 1950s transit shed right on Bristol’s Harbourside, the M Shed museum explores over 2000 years of Bristol’s history. It offers an excellent contemporary event space on the top floor of the building with an amazing roof terrace overlooking the harbour. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in the 19th century, the SS Great Britain was the world’s first great ocean liner. After being in service from 1845 to 1886 she was abandoned until 1970 when she was towed back to the UK for restoration. She now stands tall in Bristol Harbour.
As well as being a top visitor attraction, Brunel’s SS Great Britain has fantastic event space both on and off the ship. With their Great Eastern Hall ideal for conferences for up to 250 guests and the original First Class Dining Saloon, restored to its former glory, it’s a wonderful setting for a conference with a difference.

We The Curious science centre has been inspiring minds since 2000 with exhibitions exploring the ‘inner workings of the world around us’.
