Meet Bristol & Bath trade mission to the United States' West Coast

Last week (6-10 March 2023), Meet Bristol & Bath participated in a trade mission to the United States' West Coast. Led by VisitEngland's Business Events Team MeetEngland, Meet Bristol & Bath were joined by other prominent English Convention Bureaux including Birmingham and the West Midlands Convention Bureau, London Convention Bureau, Liverpool Convention Bureau and Manchester Convention Bureau.

Presentations focussed on our key sector alignments with the U.S. West Coast; notably the tech industry, alongside some strong incentive and event programme ideas to inspire future bookings.

The trade mission commenced in Orange County and Los Angeles with evening events joined by corporate, incentive and association buyers. The team then headed to San Francisco for sales calls followed by a final evening event. In total, we met with over 45 business event agencies, corporate and event planners and international associations.
