Wookey Hole is one of the world’s best show caves. This stunning natural phenomenon sits alongside a 19th Century mill building that is filled with magical fun experiences, including a unique circus theatre space that seats just under 400 people.   

Set in a jaw dropping Somerset valley you will find a range of unique and quirky spaces including the lively, artistic vibe of the circus-tent designed Mill restaurant and the laid-back charm of the Water Wheel Suite.

Team building days can be as adrenaline fuelled or laid back as you wish, from a Wild Wookey cave diving adventure, to creative circus skills and paper making.

Conferences & Meetings   

Wookey Hole pride themselves in delivering exceptional conferences and meetings tailored to your needs. They have three large private spaces and several breakout rooms.   

The amazing circus theatre seats 399 people with a full lighting and audio system. Side digital screens can also add to the drama of any presentation. The Mill Restaurant with its beautiful circus décor is a versatile space for creative events and dinners seating up to 220 theatre style; the Water Wheel Suite overlooks the original water wheel that drove the production of paper at the mill through the centuries. This seats up to 150 people theatre style.    

Parties & Social Events  

Wookey are known for their parties, whether organising a milestone birthday, a wedding reception, or a holiday gathering, the distinctive spaces can accommodate events of any scale.  They can host smaller get-togethers in their bar area or vibrant parties for up to 400 guests. The Mill offers a few options, whether you prefer an eclectic and playful atmosphere or a more elegant and straightforward setting. The Mill restaurant embraces a fascinating circus history, bursting with colour and artistic flair. Meanwhile, the water wheel space showcases beautiful open brickwork and stunning beams, providing an elegant backdrop that can be customised to suit your vision. 

Gala Dinners and Private Dining  

Wookey Hole’s Mill Restaurant is made for magical gala dinners. Guests start their evening in the vintage penny arcade, where they can enjoy a welcome drink, soak in the history of Wookey Hole and try their hand at the vintage arcade machines with unlimited pennies. The fun begins before dinner getting everyone in the mood for a great night! 

The stunning Mill restaurant caters for receptions of up to 180 people banquet style. It is the perfect backdrop of circus nostalgia, bursting with colour and artistic flair. The cool calm of the Water Wheel Suite serves slightly smaller groups seating 100 banquet style.  This space showcases beautiful open brickwork and stunning beams, providing an elegant backdrop that can be customised to suit your vision. 

Gala dinners are expertly managed by the events and specialist events catering teams who can work with you to create a bespoke meal to suit your unique experience.  

Competitive Socialising & Team Building  

Wookey Hole brings the fun and adrenaline to any team building event. Whether you're there for the action, the fun or your group is up for a bit of friendly competition, Wookey Hole caters for lots of different tastes. 

For the adrenaline seekers, groups can conquer hidden chambers and awe-inspiring rock formations, navigating through abseiling, crawling, and climbing challenges that reveal parts of Wookey Hole that few ever see. Everyone comes out of there feeling a sense of achievement and camaraderie.  

For the fun seekers consider a Circus Workshop involving juggling, learning the hoola hoop and you can even try the trapeze! Brilliant for getting the bloody pumping, boosting confidence, and enhancing teamwork.  

For the competitive you can create a fun, competitive atmosphere by organising a Pirate Golf Championship at Wookey Hole, which is home to the largest Adventure Golf course in the Southwest. 

For the creative or crafters, learn how to make your very own paper in the paper mill that has been running since the 1890s.

There are 58 bedrooms in the onsite Wookey Hole Hotel. The hotel is the perfect accommodation choice, offering a comfortable and convenient base for your adventures. With free parking, complimentary Wi-Fi, and easy access to the hotel restaurant, bar, and games room, you and your team can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere after a busy day of activities.  

With 58 bedrooms offering different room configurations, a total of over 200 beds that can accommodate even the largest group.  They also have 12 three-bedroom hot tub lodges onsite, perfect for those seeking a touch of elegance and privacy. With spacious living areas and stunning views, the lodges provide a unique and comfortable setting.
