About

Come and spray your own street art souvenir artwork to take home!

It’s no secret that Bristol is a hub for street artists, with huge murals and eye-catching designs at every corner. And for those inspired to spray their own art, award-winning organisation Where The Wall are running their “Introduction to Stencil Art” Spray Sessions every week, allowing
participants to put their skills to the test and spray their own artworks to take home!

This entry-level activity, suitable for all ages and capabilities, is a great chance to experience using a spray can, developing your can-control and completing an artwork to take home. But it will also introduce you to stencil art from the very beginnings of recorded-human history, to the
modern day with Banksy’s art; just what did inspire him to become such an impressive stencil artist in Bristol’s world of graffiti art?
So come enjoy some creativity, get your hands on the cans and take home some self-made artwork!

Quotes
“Criminally good fun” The Independent newspaper.

Alistair, visiting Bristol for the weekend from Somerset:
“I came with my wife for some fun, but I would definitely bring my daughter in future as the entire session was very child friendly. I also thought the location was really cool.”

Paul from Bristol with his wife and 9 year old daughter:
“Our daughter absolutely loved the spray painting as an add on to the walking tour we had just done and a brilliantly interesting way to finish the day. Sophie is pleased as punch with the outcome of her two pictures.“

Grandmother Violet who brought her 14 year old grandson:
“My grandson Zac (14 years old) from London thought the session was great. He enjoyed having such of variety of paint available. It was great to find an activity that appealed to a wide age range. (There is not a lot to interest a teenager). We had been on the Street Art tour
beforehand which we both enjoyed very much. I have earned a few brownie points and spent some quality time with Zac.”
