What They Do
Smoke & Mirrors aim to give their customers an experience to remember, upon entering Smoke & Mirrors in Bristol, their excellent team behind the bar can offer you a wide range of drinks and food. Wednesday to Saturday their House Magicians will also greet you – from 6:30pm till 11:45pm their Magicians appear at your table free of charge to bamboozle you with tricks and laughter. And if you are taking in one of House Magician Comedy & Magic Shows on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday upon leaving the theatre, the Musicians will entertain you on their Live Music stage in the main bar area. At Smoke & Mirrors, they not only make sure entertainment is first, but they also have the best selection of wines, spirits and craft lager and ales on tap. Again if you are taking in one of the nights you also get 10% off all bar purchases, whether it be on their stone baked pizzas or indulging in their 2 cocktails for £10.

Why They Do it
Owner Mark Bennetts' ambition was to create a place that offers a slightly more structured evening of magic and comedy. Smoke & Mirrors intimate pub theatre holds around 48 guests so is a perfect space for groups and they make sure all their guests are entertained. They would love to make you the star of the show, so book the number one show in Bristol today. Or pop in before heading to one of the theatres located near them, if you are heading to either the Hippodrome, O2, Bristol Beacon you can show your ticket at the bar to receive a 10% discount.

When Does it Happen
There are excellent comedy magic acts every weekend featuring some of the most talented magicians in the world and every Monday they host A Bunch of Japes New Material night for Stand up Comedians – all from a privileged position just metres from the stage. Not only do they have some the countries top comedians trying out material in their boutique theatre they also offer Open Mic spots on their night called Joke & Mirrors, and if Magic and Comedy weren't enough they are proud to support CoochieCrunch their staple of brilliant Burlesque New York Style. And for those who just like a drink and a sing-song every Friday & Saturday the Live Music from their local musicians play from 10pm till close in the main bar area the live music flow freely.

When Are They Open
Smoke & Mirrors bar is open to the public Monday to Saturday from 4pm to midnight, and when the theatre is not in use, it's the perfect venue for corporate or private events in a unique, inspirational location.
