About
Arnos Vale Cemetery is a national heritage site, located in the heart of Bristol and within 45 acres of woodlands. Designed in 1839 as a Victorian Garden Cemetery, it has evolved to what is now a Charity, a heritage site, Site of Nature Conservation Interest, and a place many hold dear in their hearts. This thriving wildlife sanctuary is a beautiful place to go for a wander and explore! Spend time exploring with one of their trail maps and learn about their fascinating history and the many notable people remembered there, or consider going on one of their guided tours. They also have a glass Cafe with garden terrace for you to grab some lunch, and a shop full of locally sourced gifts. Check out their What's On guide to see the many events and activities they have, from theatre performances, educational kids activities and more.
