About

Enjoy the best Thai food in Bath at Giggling Squid. This vibrant restaurant serves plentiful dishes, exciting Thai ingredients, and bold flavours for both lunch and dinner.

Located in the heart of the city, just a few doors down from the Theatre Royal and less than a five-minute walk from the famous Roman Baths, Giggling Squid is housed in a beautiful, bright, and airy building adorned with gorgeous florals. Guests are welcomed with warm hospitality and delicious Thai cuisine prepared by expert Thai chefs.

The spacious outdoor dining area is heated and open year-round, offering the perfect spot to savour Thai dishes while watching the lively streets of central Bath.

Whether it’s a casual lunch with friends, a meal with the kids, a romantic date, or a celebration with a larger group, Giggling Squid is ready to welcome all. For bigger gatherings, the lower ground level offers semi-private dining, providing a more intimate setting while still soaking in the restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere.

The menu showcases a wide variety of beloved Thai dishes, highlighting fresh produce from both land and sea, all enriched with Thailand’s signature herbs, spices, and vegetables. Vegetarian and vegan options are available, along with a fantastic value lunch menu featuring sharing plates, noodles, and Thai soups starting from just £4.50.

The evening menu includes favourites like Massaman Curry and Pad Thai, as well as signature Giggling dishes such as Sticky Chicken and Salt & Pepper Squid. The drinks menu complements the food perfectly, offering thoughtfully selected wines and Thai-inspired cocktails—from Margaritas to Mojitos. There's also a fun and tasty kids’ menu for ‘Squidlets.’

Giggling Squid is open daily from 12:00pm to 10:30pm, with Thai feasts also available for delivery and takeaway.
