Selection of beers

About

Froth & Fries is Bristol’s specialist Belgian beer bar and kitchen, serving expertly poured craft beer, flavour-packed food, and friendly table service in the heart of the historic city centre. Located on Broad Street, they bring together the warmth of a European beer café with the relaxed energy of an independent Bristol bar.

Formerly known as The Strawberry Thief, this much-loved venue has been part of Bristol’s beer scene for nearly a decade and now enters an exciting new chapter as Froth & Fries - with a sharper focus on world-class beer, elevated comfort food, and laid-back hospitality.

Their rotating beer list celebrates the best of Belgian brewing alongside standout local and international craft beers, from crisp pilsners and hazy IPAs to rich dubbels, tripels, and seasonal specials. Pair your pint with loaded fries, sumptuous burgers, bar snacks, and easy-going food designed for sharing, grazing, or settling in for the evening. Weekly food and beer specials to explore on your next adventure!

Whether it’s after-work drinks, date nights, weekend catch-ups, or group celebrations, Froth & Fries is all about great beer, delicious food, and swift, welcoming service - without the queues.

They also welcome group bookings, corporate socials, tastings, and private hire events throughout the year.
