About
Where else can you climb inside a giant bubble, turn yourself invisible and fly through space, all on the same afternoon?
Discover science, but not as you know it, at We The Curious, Bristol’s science centre and home to the UK’s only 3D planetarium.
Located on the city’s historic harbourside, this is a place to play, experiment, test out ideas and have fun together.
With over 200 exhibits, We The Curious is a must-see for all ages and takes you on an incredible journey exploring the inner workings of the world around us.
Join Morph and friends in Aardman’s exclusive exhibition and become an animator for the day. Explore some of life’s big questions about time, space and happiness. Build ball runs, solve puzzles, launch a hot air balloon, and discover how our brains and bodies work together.
Plus, there is always something new to discover with the ever-changing programme of special activities.
This summer, join the celebrations as We The Curious turns 25. Blast to the past in a new live show all about time travel or take the Research Island survival challenge. Make drawing bots and hanging gardens and cook up some tongue-twisting taste experiments.
Head upstairs to the Planetarium for close-up views of gas giants and gigantic stars.

Booking ahead is recommended particularly at weekends and during school holidays.

Sustainability
We The Curious was the first attraction of its kind to declare a climate emergency in 2019. This interactive museum has cutting edge environmentally friendly features, like the UK’s only phase-change tank, air source heat pumps and green roofs. They're working hard to become a site powered using fully renewable electricity, without use of any fossil fuels and with a 30% reduction in offsite carbon emissions by 2030.
