THE PIG-near Bath

About

THE PIG–near Bath is a buzzing restaurant with rooms – with the Kitchen Garden at its heart - nestled between Bath and Bristol on the edge of the village of Hunstrete. With a serious commitment to the community and surrounding area, THE PIG-near Bath celebrates all things Somerset.

With an obsessive commitment to home grown produce and a serious love of all-things local, the garden and kitchen teams work hand in hand to create the restaurant’s 25-mile menu, which is supported by passionate local farmers and small producers, who supply anything that the team cannot grow or produce themselves. Somerset is famous for its food and drink, with more than 8,500 farmers and food producers based in the county, more than any other county in the UK, and we are lucky enough to work with some of the best! THE PIG-near Bath even has its own deer park on site, rearing a herd of fallow deer.

A friendly and relaxed country hotel, THE PIG-near Bath has a lively Bar, cosy lounges all with open fires, sink in sofas, eclectic interiors and serves unfussy and hyper-local food in its restaurant and on its outside terraces.
