From M5 motorway Leave motorway at Junction 17 (sign-posted Bristol West). Take the A4018 towards Bristol West. At the next roundabout take second exit – effectively straight on Continue downhill on dual carriageway, past BMW Garage on your left and straight on at mini roundabout. Continue on main road to a further large roundabout and pedestrian crossing– (known as the Old Crow roundabout) and perform a 360 degree turn at this roundabout to come back the way you came on the other side of the dual carriage way. Look out for brown sign telling you to turn left towards for Clifton Rugby Club At junction you are going to go straight across the road, (not join it) you will see Sign for Berwick Lodge on the right of the road and also a private sports club on the left. Follow the lane up on right signposted to Berwick Lodge (& private lane) Continue on up on this rather bumpy lane for approx 3/4 mile crossing over the M5.
