Brook House

About

Berkeley Townhouse is part of the Berkeley Estate however the holiday home sits just outside the castle walls, brimming with history. The castle itself has been in the Berkeley family since the 12th Century and has recently been used for the filming of the much lauded BBC drama 'Wolf Hall'.

The house itself is a sizable Georgian townhouse set within the town of Berkeley. On entering you are greeted with a beautiful original tiled floor leading into an impressive open plan kitchen with all the mod cons and views that lead out over the garden and large decking, a dining table big enough to seat twenty for dinner and a formal living area.

The house is set over three floors and offers nine bedrooms, five of which have their own en-suites. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor perfect for anyone who does not want to travel up the stairs. A cosy sung is offered which is an ideal place to relax and watch a film, and on the top floor of the house the extra-large landing is a great place for the kids to sit and play giving the adults well-deserved peace and quiet.

You will also find a large sociable garden, a fabulous setting for a BBQ, a bit of alfresco dining, or simply an evening drink. This house is definitely big enough for everyone!

From the windows of the front of the house you can see the pretty Castle church and the entrance to Berkeley Castle itself is only a couple of minutes' walk from your front door. The Castle also offers all guests staying at the house half priced entry to visit the Castle and grounds during it’s open season from April – October.

If you decide to venture into the town, a minute's walk into the centre you will find local shops, a bakers and even an old English pub
